Energy Web: Refined narrative to boost stakeholder engagement and media traction

The challenge

Energy Web, a non-profit building software for energy systems, approached Sillion wanting to gain traction with diverse stakeholders, improve media understanding of its offerings, and establishing a clear purpose. These challenges were compounded by its use of blockchain, decentralised digital identities, and the need to engage both retail consumers and advanced energy actors, including utilities, DSOs, and TSOs.

Our approach

Working hand-in-hand with Energy Web’s wider team, including its various technical leads, marketing personnel, and C-Suite, we have established a clear narrative for the organisation marrying purpose and product, as well as offering bespoke messaging for its different stakeholder groups.

To bring Energy Web’s position to life, we assisted in the organisation’s website redesign and created illustrative collateral for media and partner organisations defining the purpose, product, development, and use of each of Energy Web’s product offerings.

In addition to these strategic level activities, the Sillion team also supports ongoing media relations and PR efforts by carrying out continuous outreach on behalf of Energy Web and serving as the company’s communications advisor and press office function.
